Meet Amanda

When I think of capturing the perfect photograph, my heart beats crazy fast....that's passion. When my son was born, my world became a beautiful, quickly changing environment and I found comfort in those 'perfect' photos of my baby, that froze time and let me focus on a version of his chubby face that no longer existed. I quickly learned to capture a child's innocence and personality through my lens, waiting for that moment when their humor and quirks emerge before I close my shutter.

I see life in photographs, and every part of life provides snapshots I take in my mind. Colors inspire me. Little faces full of real life intrigue me. Fresh love captivates me. I am always fascinated by old buildings, mature faces, the lime green of moss, and round bellies full of fresh life.

My goal is to capture beauty in it's purest form. Not in the perfect outfit, the perfect pose, or the perfect smile. That's not what you want to remember about life. But REAL LIFE. The sparks that motivate you. The raw beauty you see everyday. I want to bottle it up. With every click of my shutter.
